Job Summary
As a Junior Business Analyst, you’ll be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements to help guide the design and development of innovative software solutions. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, designers, and QA engineers to ensure business goals are accurately translated into technical outcomes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has a strong analytical mindset, and is eager to grow in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Requirement Gathering:
Collaborate with stakeholders to collect and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
Analysis & Documentation:
Analyze workflows and existing processes to identify areas for improvement and assist in defining project scope. Create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and use cases.
Stakeholder Communication:
Act as a bridge between business teams and technical teams to ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Process Modeling:
Assist in creating process flow diagrams, wireframes, and mockups to support requirement clarity and solution design.
Project Support:
Support product managers and developers in project planning, prioritization, and sprint activities. Participate in backlog grooming and sprint reviews.
Quality Assurance Collaboration:
Work closely with QA teams to help validate that solutions meet business requirements and assist in test case creation where needed.
Change Management:
Track changes in business processes or project requirements and ensure proper documentation and communication.
Market Research:
Conduct basic market and competitor analysis to support strategic decisions.
What You’ll Need
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience:
0–1 year of experience in a business analyst or related role (internships and academic projects will be considered).
