Position Overview
As Mahaana's Business Development and Partnerships Manager, you will scale our B2B revenue through corporate partnerships, building on the IGI Life Insurance model. You'll focus on employee benefit programs, targeting HR departments to position Mahaana's VPS as a differentiated workplace benefit that improves financial wellness.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute corporate partnership strategy for employee benefit programs
- Prospect and pitch to HR departments at target companies (tech, professional services, financial institutions)
- Negotiate partnership agreements and revenue sharing models
- Develop case studies and ROI calculators for corporate decision-makers
- Build relationships with financial advisors, banks, and insurance companies for co-distribution
- Manage end-to-end partnership implementation (contracts, integration, launch)
- Create sales enablement materials and pitch decks
- Track partnership pipeline and report on progress against targets
- Coordinate with product and operations teams on partnership requirements
- Develop white-label or co-branded solutions for enterprise clients
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3-5 years of B2B sales or business development experience
- Proven track record of closing enterprise deals (PKR 5M+ contract value)
- Strong understanding of HR decision-making and employee benefits landscape
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
- Consultative selling approach with ability to identify and solve customer pain points
- Relationship management skills for long-term partnership nurturing
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales pipeline management
- Willingness to travel for client meetings
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in insurance, banking, or HR tech B2B sales
- Existing network within Pakistani corporate HR departments
- Understanding of employee benefit plans and workplace wellness programs
- Experience selling fintech or financial services to enterprises
- MBA or relevant business degree
